The Westerscheldetunnel will be closed in both directions overnight from May 27 to 28 for annual maintenance.

From December 30, 2024, the Westerscheldetunnel is partially toll-free for passenger cars and motorcycles.

Partially toll-free from 1 January 2025

In three months, the Westerscheldetunnel will be partially toll-free.

Toll-free dates 2024

Each year we have toll-free dates. During a toll-free day, traffic can pass in both directions for 24 hours without paying toll.

Rates

For passing through the Westerscheldetunnel you pay a toll charge at the tollgates on the Toll Plaza north of the Westerschelde River.
